(ISV) You crown the year with your goodness; your footsteps drop prosperity behind them.
New Nations Traveled To
In 2018 I was able to travel to 4 nations: Ethiopia; Zambia; Botswana; and The United Arab Emirates (to the city of Dubai). The last 3 countries are ones that I went to for the 1st time and all on the same mission trip. In Zambia I was privileged to teach at RHEMA Bible Training Center Zambia and at Miracle Life Family Church, both on the same campus. In Botswana I was honored to minister in a tent for 3 days and to minister outdoors. The leader of that ministry is someone from Botswana, who I trained for ministry in Ethiopia. In Dubai I was able to contact key ministry leaders, for ministry in Dubai and in other places in the Middle East.
Ministry Work in Ethiopia
In Ethiopia, in addition to Bible college teaching in 2 locations, I was able minister in many churches, some conferences and in some outreaches. In one outreach we saw over 80 people accept Christ in a Muslim village. In one of the conferences we saw maybe a few hundred people healed, many instantly. In one church service there may have been about 100 people baptized in the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
In one church, we also had 3 hours of prayer, most weekday mornings, for 2 weeks. It was a time to teach on prayer and them lead them in prayer. As the days progressed, more and more people came in from the streets or were brought in by a friend, and they were saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, delivered, healed, and or edified from the Word of God: whatever they needed! God also moved in a strong prophetic anointing in those prayer meetings.
I was also honored to minister in a youth conference and in an outreach to children and youth, through a non-profit organization. I was able to minister in a service to widows, fatherless children and orphans, where we were also able to bless them materially. We also regularly help to them. In September we sent $1,000.00 for school uniforms and school supplies. On that trip I visited some refugee camps for the 1st time in my life. During my refugee trip I saw the palace of the Queen of Sheba and the church where some claim that the Ark of the Covenant is. I also traveled to more parts of Ethiopia than I ever have before. I went farther north and west than I have. I was also able to travel to the eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia.
USA Ministry Travels
My USA travels included ministry in Louisiana 5 times, California, Missouri, New York, Texas and Maryland 3 times. In Maryland, I was able to see my parents, who are in their 80s, and other family. I also ministered in Oklahoma, between the out of state and out of country trips. It has been another great year of strengthening ministries and ministers overseas and over here.
Family Update
My daughters, Loren and Loriel, have been working and taking college classes or training. Larissa has been in Thailand for over 9 years, since age 19, as a full-time volunteer missionary with Life Impact International. When Larissa was in the USA in August and September, I was able to travel with her almost to every church that she was in. Loriel continues to be a blessing to my ministry and to Larissa, handling many administrative things for us.
