Dear Family and Friends,

I trust that you are doing well. Here is an update on my ministry for the first six months of 2023.

Missions & Bible Schools
From May 5 – 23 I was on a mission trip in the nation of Zambia, which is in the southern half of the continent of Africa. I was there teaching at Rhema Bible Training Center Zambia. I was assigned to teach a course called “Faith Foundations.” I taught it to both the day and night students. I did sixteen sessions for each group of students, thirty-two sessions in all.

The maps above show where Zambia is. I was in the city of Lusaka for my entire trip. The photos directly below the maps are of the day and night first-year students that I taught.

I ministered in both a day chapel service and in a night chapel service for the second-year students. I also ministered in day and night prayer school sessions to both the 1st and 2nd year students combined.

Additionally, I ministered in a day and a night session on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit for the first-year students. About 75 to 80 students participated in those two voluntary sessions for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and many of them began to speak in other tongues. One more lady was filled with the Holy Spirit after class. Also, some students were either healed during class, between class or after class. I was also asked to counsel various students after some of the classes and on the weekends.

Above are photos from my ministry time at Rhema Zambia’s Prayer School.

I was invited to minister at Miracle Life Family Church (MLFC). Rhema Zambia and MLFC are both on the same campus. At MLFC I ministered in both the early and late morning services on a Sunday morning. About a dozen people accepted Christ and I think five came forward to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Pastors Walker and Haley Schurz are over both MLFC and Rhema Zambia. From what I understand, MLFC grew from around 3,000 people to 4,000 people from when I was there last year. God has also blessed the ministry with some additional new buildings over the past couple of years or so. And they were built during COVID, debt free!

Above are some photos from when I ministered at Miracle Life Family Church.

On another Sunday morning, on my Zambia trip, I ministered at a church of a Rhema Zambia graduate who began having services about three to four months before I ministered there. In those three to four months, the church grew to somewhere between 300 to 400 people. On the Sunday morning that I ministered, about forty people came forward to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and many of them began to speak in other tongues. After that service, I ministered to all of the volunteers in a session about being faithful. The name of that church is Faith Lifestyle Ministries. This was my fifth time to Zambia in 6 years.

Above are some photos from my time at Faith Lifestyle Ministries in Zambia.

I heard that through the Christ for All Nations Ministries (founded by Reinhard Bonnke and now led by Daniel Kolenda), that over 1 million people accepted Christ in Zambia, in May, while I was in the country.

Memorial Services/Home Going Celebrations
In the month of June, my 91-year-old mother-in-law (Yolanda’s mom) transitioned to Heaven. An elderly cousin of hers died about 1 to 2 weeks before that. For Yolanda’s mom, my missionary daughter Larissa, and Yolanda’s nephew Barron, and I, assisted in coordinating the memorial service arrangements. Also, the Lord laid it on my heart to raise the finances for her memorial service. Though Yolanda’s mom did have a final expense policy at one time, she had cashed it out to help a family member in desperate need. God was faithful to bring all the money in within 9 days, which was the night before the memorial service. I ministered in her memorial service, and I officiated and ministered in her elderly cousin’s memorial service. In both services I felt strongly impressed to invite people to accept Christ or rededicate their lives to Christ, and praise the Lord, many people did.

Ministry in Conferences, Workshops and Seminars
So far this year I have ministered in two conferences, a workshop, and a seminar. The topics that I ministered on were Faith (at 2 different churches in Louisiana), Marriage & Family (in Tennessee) and The Ministry of Helps (in Wisconsin).

Where I Have Ministered in the USA the Past 6 Months
In the month of January, I ministered in nine different churches in Louisiana.
My ministry in Louisiana continued through the first weekend of February, then I came home. In February I also ministered in Missouri, and in Tennessee and Via Zoom in Maryland.
During the last weekend of February, and the first weekend in March, in Louisiana, I filled for some pastor friends that went overseas for a couple of weeks. All together in March I ministered in four churches in Louisiana. In March, while in Louisiana, I also ministered in Alabama via Zoom and in Maryland via Zoom. During the last weekend of March, I ministered in Texas.

In April I ministered in three churches in Oklahoma. During the last week of April and the first week of May I taught at Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I taught there on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in a course for students interested in international traveling ministry.

As mentioned in the “Missions & Bible Schools” section of this newsletter, most of my ministry in May was in Zambia. April through the first week of May was also a time to get my kitchen repaired and remodeled from some water damage that happened in 2022.

In June I ministered in Wisconsin, Texas, and in four churches in Louisiana and did the two funerals that I mentioned above.

Comfort, Comfort My People
As usual, God’s ministry mandate to me “Comfort, Comfort My People (Isaiah 40:1), continues to manifest in a variety of ways and in a variety of venues. It manifests through my teaching, preaching and exhortation of God’s Word (Rom. 15:4). It manifests, through vocal and revelation gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 14:3), including prophetic song. It manifests through physical and emotional healing (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1-3, Mark 16:17-18, Psalm 23:3). It manifests in church services, in Bible schools, in crusades, in counseling, in homes, in hotels, in restaurants, in cafes, in phone calls, emails, etc. It manifest, through helping the needy financially and materially, including those overseas. It also manifests in a variety of other ways. As the lyrics of a popular song says, “Yahweh will manifest Himself.” And God continues to manifest Himself in many precious ways because of His deep love for people.

My Schedule for the Remainder of The Year
So far, my ministry for the remainder of the year looks to be in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, Nebraska, California, New York and maybe in Arizona. The ministry in California is scheduled to be on the Chemehuevi Native American Indian Reservation and on the Mojave Reservation.

Last year I traveled to five countries in 5 months. This year, because I had a strong witness that my mother-in-law would transition to Heaven, I did not schedule a lot for overseas. I also needed to get my kitchen repaired. The kitchen water damage happened in the summer of 2022. But because of my travels, I was not able to get everything taken care of in my kitchen until April-May of this year. But praise God, the kitchen looks better than ever! Maybe I will go overseas again in 2023. We will see how the Lord directs me.

Thank You
Thank you all so much for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. Realize no amount is too small or too big when it is what God puts on your heart to give.

On this website, you can see all the ways that you give to my ministry.

With Much Love & Appreciation,

Brother Larry Brown
